Shopping in and around Richmond

Hilltop Mall
Variety, they say, is the spice of life. But it's also the spice of shopping. By that measure, Richmond is well seasoned indeed: an all-American mall, Asian and Hispanic markets, attractive boutiques, a charming historic district. And that's just for starters.
Hilltop Mall, located just west of I-80 at the Hilltop Drive exit, is a traditional shopping mall, with 3 major department stores, a range of restaurants and many national retailers. Visit the mall's website for a list of stores and hours.
The Pacific East Shopping Mall can seem more like Hong Kong than northern California. But there it is, just east of good old I-80 at Central Avenue, boasting, among many other things, a fresh fish market worth visiting even if you're not cooking tonight. The Mall offers a fascinating array of Asian retail shops and restaurants.
Historical Point Richmond, located off of I-580 at Castro Boulevard has 13 restaurants, an art gallery - DeWitt Gallery and Framing, a day spa, and boutiques- including that will delight any shopper.
