Can you imagine if we don’t have kitchen utensils, pans, and knives? We would still be stuck in the Stone Ageand we will not be able to unleash the full potential flavor of the food that we get. Kitchenwares and knives are very important because these things have paved the way to the cooking that we all know and love today.
If we never made such things we would still be cooking food in a bonfire, we wouldn’t have experienced a lot of great things and cook meat in a lot of ways. You won’t even experience fine dining and our everyday food would always feel like we’re in the great outdoors, so what will happen if we never get to make kitchenwares and modern knives?
No Sushi: that’s right, the art of preparing food that requires fresh ingredients, second to none knife skills and a good skill to mix and match fresh ingredients to make a good balance of flavor. Sushi is more than just food created by a Sushi chef, it’s an art form that takes minutes to prepare and seconds to devour. If we never discovered knives and kitchenwares this won’t happen.
No steak: even the most solid vegetarian can break down and become a meat lover when they see a good steak. If there were no knives, to begin with, we can’t appreciate the various cuts of meat (in this case steak) and will not appreciate how it will be prepared without kitchenwares. We would be eating roasted food all day, every day. Surely the thinking of eating a succulent roasted pig is overwhelming but if you’re eating for like forever, I’m sure you will be a vegetarian in no time.
No baking: That’s right, to warm apple pie, blue berry pie, croissant, bagel, donuts (cops favorite), sour bread, cakes! pizza!. These things wouldn’t exist, wedding cakes won’t be a tradition, apple will be apples, blueberries will be blue berries because we didn’t have the means to make them something more special, and we would not be able to taste a deep dish pizza.
That’s right, we can go on and on and on and we can even make a million page books even if we keep going right now but let’s stop it here. All these great flavors, the diversity of food that made it unique per city, region, and country. It’s all because we discovered not just fire but also became fewer savages when we made knives and kitchenwares to strive for something greater than bonfire food.
